These terms govern your use of alertloop. Because the platform can take automated action on your systems, please read the responsibilities and disclaimers carefully.
By creating an account or using the alertloop platform and website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
alertloop provides monitoring, observability, patching, on-call, and automated remediation for your infrastructure. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.
We offer a free tier so you can use the Service without charge, subject to the limits described on our site. Free-tier limits and availability may change. For larger fleets or additional capacity, contact us and we'll arrange a plan; any paid terms will be agreed separately.
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@alertloop.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, disrupt or attack systems you're not authorised to touch, attempt to breach the platform's security, or resell the Service without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other customers at risk.
The Service can execute patches and remediation automatically based on the configuration and autonomy settings you choose. You acknowledge that automated actions carry inherent risk to production systems, that you remain in control of what is permitted to run, and that you're responsible for reviewing your automation settings, maintenance windows, and approvals. We provide controls such as canaries, maintenance windows, and rollback, but you are responsible for how you use them.
You retain ownership of the data you send to the Service. We process it to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect or remediate every issue.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, alertloop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim — which, for free-tier use, is zero.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located in Canada.
